Diwali Declutter : How to Welcome Laxmi in all her Grace and Abundance?

Festive season around the corner, and we have put our cleaning kits in action - every nook, every corner of our homes is being cleaned thoroughly. Perhaps out of practice, tradition, or pure faith, that the Goddess needs to be welcomed in positive homes - we do this every year, to uphold the tradition of the festival and our surrender to the goddess. But not every time, does this declutter and cleansing breed a positive energy in the homes. Sometimes, it leaves us exhausted, confused, and compelled to follow these traditions - we find ourself questioning if we are doing the right things, the fear of not properly doing the ceremonies, the wondering of the why traditions are followed - just a pendulum of emotions in extremes.

And that is why, when we become aware of needing to grow spiritually, and to adapt mindfulness in our lives - it is essential to know that cleansing is not just external. Yes, our environment, the reality we live in, our homes, must be clean and decluttered, but if our minds are not, then the equation is still incomplete to attract the highest energies of love.

So, this Diwali, take sometime to declutter your mind, journal your emotions, confusion and express yourself where you have held a dam. Make that effort to fill your heart with love, and be ready to share an open heart with people you meet. Experience that abundance in your being, your uniqueness, and just being you. While you declutter and cleanse your home, make sure you fill the space with gratitude. And there is no more radiance, than reflecting gratitude within you, for every experience, every opportunity, your soul group, and the beautiful home. Maa Laxmi, the feminine goddess energy, just like a woman, appreciates gratefulness, and appreciation for her creation. Her womb pulsates with love, and her heart flows in kindness for all her children.

But if as children, we fail to see her grace, and her love, for us like a mother, if we dont be grateful for the moment to be alive, for sharing this graciousness with family, reflecting even a grain of her love - the Maa returns.

This Diwali calibrate your energetic formulae - with external and internal declutter - cleanse your homes, and the best way to declutter your mind is to fill it to the brim with gratitude for every small thing you can think about. The sheer power of gratefulness is so magnanimous, that it is like an overflowing cup.
