Stop thinking backward, and Detach from the Outcome : Key to Spiritual Growth & Manifestation

We have always thought what’s in it for me? But instead focus on the grandeur of your task, your work, and passion – intent is important, when it is pure and bliss, all experiences will be like that, detachment of the outcome. But the moment you say, I expect this, that is where dissatisfaction is created, Because you are focused on the outwardly validation, all the time. But its inside out, when you feel good and confident, you will without expecting receive the compliment, and it will feel natural, detached of expectation. Stop expecting respect and appreciation – being a medium is just being, and expressing the vibration you are in.

A lot of times we do acts of kindness and goodwill, and expect the other person/people who acknowledge it, or at least we want people to talk about it. Because we feel wow we did a selfless act in this cruel world, if nothing that at least deserves a pat on the back. Or we do something for our partner or parents, and we say to them look we are doing so much for you, the least you can do is reciprocate if not do the same thing. Perhaps, its our children, we say we want to give them the best and then when they act unruly make sure they are reminded that they should be grateful for what they have because others don’t, or we dint when we were young. What is this? Does this sound like being unconditional to you – this is not, it is but subtle conditions all pointing to what’s in it for me?

We are caught in our work and life, and have become so transactional that we forget what true being and giving is. Inside all of us crave the external gratification and validation from our peers, parents, children, partners – it’s like wanting that pat on the back – then it can be verbal, or an award, or a milestone, but till we get that we feel we haven’t accomplished anything yet – but we place so much importance on the outcome that we forget to enjoy the process!

Detach yourself from the outcome, because the moment you leave the outcome of your act to chance, is when you will feel lighter and more grateful to a positive outcome, and if its negative at least you don’t have expectations attached to it. But its inside out, when you feel good and confident, you will without expecting receive the compliment, and it will feel natural, detached of expectation. And that itself is the biggest freedom you can give yourself, by doing what jives with you the most, without worrying about what and how people will react.

And that’s not in emotional relationships or philanthropy work, but in our daily jobs too – more often than not we base our actions on the outcome we foresee – are any of us seers to gauge the outcome 100% accurate? Guess not! But we have this false intuition that this is what will happen, and surprisingly a lot of us take joy in knowing that see I had said that is what will happen, and it does. Especially if it is negative – but we don’t want to get into forecasting, we want to get into planning yes, but using faculties for planning is different than using energy for forecasting and working backward!

Remember that project you did that dint have an agenda? Or a blind date that took you off by surprise? It’s those jitters you crave for, and those don’t come with validations or calculated outcomes.

Time to leave the What Ifs and get into Action Only
